Stephen Huffman is the managing partner at HCM Governmental Relations. Stephen previously served as Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Steve Pence and the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet of Kentucky. He oversaw the Department of Corrections, Homeland Security, Juvenile Justice, and the Kentucky State Police. Stephen coordinated and advised legislative, personnel, and policy matters for the Justice Cabinet and its 8000 employees. Stephen also coordinated legislative and policy matters with Kentucky’s Congressional delegation, state lawmakers, and the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Stephen has a long history of community involvement. He previously served on the State Board of Elections and was a member of the Republican Party of Kentucky Executive Committee. Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes appointed Stephen to the Election Integrity Task Force, a group charged with combating voter fraud. Lexington Mayor Jim Gray appointed Stephen to the Rupp Arena, Arts and Entertainment Task Force.
Stephen graduated from Georgetown College.
